Laser Engraving

We run our own laser here in the shop — custom work and ATF-compliant Form 1 markings. Because we're a Type 07 manufacturer with a Class 2 SOT, an SBR can be marked and its paperwork handled in the same appointment, under one roof.

Custom engraving

Scrollwork, artwork, lettering, logos, memorial pieces, gifts. The work ranges from ornate floral scroll on a lever gun receiver to photographic detail on a polymer magazine.

Every custom job is different, so pricing is quoted after we talk about what you have in mind. Bring the piece in, or send photos and a description, and we’ll tell you what’s possible on it.

Form 1 and NFA markings

Building an SBR or SBS on a Form 1? The finished firearm has to be marked as required before you can take possession, and we do that here — normally in the same visit as your paperwork, prints and photos.

ATF describes the marking requirement as:

“placing on the frame or receiver an individual serial number, any associated license number, and all other additional required information to a depth of at least .003 inch and in a print size no smaller than 1⁄16 inch”

How it works
  • Get in touch first. We’re appointment-only, so call, text or email and we’ll set a time.
  • Form 1 markings are usually same-visit. If you’re here for prints, photos and paperwork, the engraving normally happens in that appointment.
  • Custom work gets a conversation first. We’ll look at the piece, talk through placement and finish, and quote it before starting.
  • Local only, for now. We’re not taking mail-in engraving work at this time.
